Kuro - The Curious Cat Mugs | Set of Two

Curious Cat Co. × The Strange Co.

Two mugs for you. A box for your cat.

Note: Single mugs*

While these are sold as a set of two along with the reusable packaging box, you can choose to buy only one. However, the single mug will not be packed in the packaging shown in the photos. When you choose a single mug, either of the two designs will be shipped depending on availability in generic packaging.

Kuro, Zen of Observation

The world is full of small things to notice. A chirp breaks the silence. A shadow moves across the floor. A glowing lantern holds a little light.

Kuro pauses, listens and watches.

His ears turn towards a distant sound; his gaze follows the space between light and shadow. For this curious cat, wonder lives in the moment of observation.

This pair of mugs brings little scenes from Kuro’s world to your everyday tea or coffee, a gentle invitation to slow down and notice what is around you.

Made in collaboration

Designed by Curious Cat Co. in collaboration with The Strange Co., and brought to life by their team at their kiln, the ceramic mugs have a beautiful matte exterior, a soft blue interior and delicate gold-toned detailing.

Each mug holds 375 ml and is microwave and dishwasher-safe.

Packaging with a second life

The pair comes nestled in a beautifully illustrated protective box featuring Kuro’s story, ready to gift, or keep for yourself.

Once the mugs are unpacked, the box becomes a plaything for your cat. Pop out the perforated openings at the base, tuck a favourite toy or crinkled paper inside, and let curious paws investigate.

The mugs are for the human. The box is for the cat.
