Why do our products take time to ship?
Curious Cat Company is a small, boutique brand featuring products for cat lovers designed by talented Indian artists who get a share of the revenues. We started this brand 6 months ago, during the lockdown to channelise our love for cats & art.
Unlike funded e-commerce brands who mass produce their goods & store them massive warehouses to ship quickly, our products are printed only when an order is placed. We humbly acknowledge that we are unable to compete with the delivery timelines set by larger e-commerce companies.Thus, it takes a minimum of 10 days for most products to be shipped from our warehouse. We truly appreciate your support & patronage.
If it is a handmade or a customised product, it may take longer since there are unseen challenges for an artist to ensure that the product is of the highest quality. The artists we collaborate with take genuine pride and infuse their creation of love & care to make something unique just for you. This may require you, as a customer to sometimes, allow a flexibility in the timeline & accommodate a slightly longer waiting time.
I need to gift someone for a special occasions. Is there any way to quickly ship certain products?
Some special products are stocked in-house in our Mumbai office including limited edition collections. These can be shipped within 24 hours of placing an order. Please check our "Quick Ship" Page to know which products can be shipped within 24 hours.
In case a product is out of stock, it may take 5-7 days to restock. Please bear with us as we try our best to fulfil your orders as quickly as possible.
Why are Handmade products expensive?
Mass production allows the goods to be priced lower because of economies of scale. On the contrary, a handmade product requires individual time & effort apart from hard earned skill. This not only makes the product one of a kind but also helps the Artist earn their livelihood while promoting Art.
How Do I Track My Order?
As soon as your order is read and picked up, (which is currently taking 10-15 days as mentioned above) by our delivery partners, you will receive an email notification from “Shiprocket” mentioning the tracking number and order details. Please look out for this email.
Limited Edition Items
- Certain items may be limited edition, hand-made or made to order in collaboration with Artists.
- These may take 12-15 days to be delivered within India and 25-30 days for international delivery since they are made on request.
- Once these are out of stock, they may or may not be re-stocked. So get your hands on these as soon as you see them!
Do you ship internationally?
- We are now shipping to Australia, US, UK, some countries in Europe & UAE.
- Certain products can be shipped within 2-3 days of placing an order if they belong to our "Quick Ship" Inventory.
- In case you wish to purchase certain hand-made items which are created by our Artists only when an order is placed, it may take 7-10 days for the order to be shipped.
- For other products including apparel, it may take 12-15 days for products to be shipped.
- If you choose to buy products from a mix of such categories, we will ship all products together to economise shipping charges. However, the expected delivery time may be around 3-4 weeks.
- Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking link.
- We ship internationally using Aramex.

- We accept exchanges or refunds only if the product is damaged.
- Any VAT or applicable customs is payable by the customer in the landing country.
What is your Return Policy (Domestic) ?
We provide 15-days return for all products for customers within India. There is no return or exchange for Face Masks for hygiene & safety reasons.
- For other products, To initiate a return, describing your reason for return and we will take it forward from there.
- Items will have to be in new condition, without any wash or usage and to be returned in their original packaging within 15 days of delivery.
- Face Masks cannot be returned or exchanged for hygiene & safety reasons.
- Refunds of online payments are processed automatically via the payment method used.
- In case of a failed transaction, the deducted amount, if any, is automatically reversed to your account. The duration for this depends on each Bank and usually takes between 5-7 business days.
