Our grooming studio is run in collaboration with Earthy Paws, India’s first certified holistic grooming salon.
Earthy Paws has spent years shaping a grooming philosophy that prioritises emotional wellbeing alongside physical care. Their methods are rooted in observation, consent, and gentleness, especially for sensitive, anxious, or senior cats.
This collaboration brings together shared values of calm, patience, and respect for the animal’s experience.
Meet Judith Paul
Judith has spent over 15 years working closely with cats, particularly those who find grooming difficult, stressful, or overwhelming.
Her work is rooted in ethical, low-stress grooming practices, supported by ongoing professional development in feline behaviour and wellbeing.
She is a Fear Free Certified Groomer and trained in Behaviour-Led Holistic Grooming (HGA, UK).
Judith approaches grooming as a behaviour-led process, guided by observation, timing, and respect for a cat’s boundaries. Sessions adapt to the individual cat rather than following a fixed routine.
Through this collaboration, her approach forms the foundation of the holistic grooming practice at Curious Cat Company.
Our Process
Every appointment begins with observation.
We take time to understand the cat’s temperament, boundaries, and comfort levels before any grooming begins. There is no fixed script. Each session adapts to the cat in front of us.
Our approach includes:
- Minimal restraint
- Gentle handling and pauses when needed
- One-on-one sessions without crowding or noise
- Natural, cat-safe products
- Respect for signs of stress or fatigue
If a cat needs a break, we take it. If a session needs to be split, we do that.
Care comes before completion.
Grooming Services
Our services are designed to support hygiene, comfort, and emotional wellbeing. Each session is adapted to the individual cat, not a fixed routine.
Dry Bath: A gentle, waterless option for fearful cats, kittens, seniors, or cats new to grooming.
Basic Bath: Bathing using cat-safe products, with ear cleaning, nail trimming, and optional teeth brushing.
Medicated Bath: Vet-recommended bathing for concerns such as dandruff, fleas, or sensitive skin.
Full Groom: A complete session including bath, coat care, detangling, and finishing, paced according to the cat’s comfort.
Herbal Care: Natural herbal treatments for coat conditioning and skin health.
In-Between Groom Care: Light maintenance between full grooming sessions to keep cats comfortable and clean.
Add-on services such as ear cleaning, nail clipping, and sanitary trims are available when suitable.
We do not offer forced grooming or procedures that compromise a cat’s emotional safety.

Prices are shared as ranges, as every cat is different. Coat length, thickness, temperament, and the time required to groom gently all influence the final cost.

Final pricing is discussed with you before the session begins.
Most cats benefit from professional grooming every 4-6 weeks, though long-haired breeds, senior or special needs cats may need more frequent visits. We can help you create a personalised schedule after a conversation.
Absolutely! All our products are specially formulated for cats with sensitive skin and are free from harsh chemicals, artificial fragrances, and common allergens.
Grooming is offered by appointment only.
This allows us to:
- Work with one cat at a time
- Avoid noise, crowding, or overlap
- Move at the cat’s pace without pressure
We recommend advance bookings, especially for nervous cats, senior cats, or first-time grooming visits. Please bring your cats in secure carriers.
