Did you know that a cat's whiskers can be over stimulated causing stress? Narrow and deeper feeding bowls often cause stress as a cat's whiskers constantly brush against the edges of the bowl. This may dissuade the cat from eating form the bowl and they often leave food around the edges untouched since it is stressful for them to eat it.
A good solution is to feed in bowl or plates that are shallow and wide so that the cat's whiskers are not stimulated as they eat.
