The Portrait of "A Cat in Gold" is a lost painting, completed between 1903 and 1907 by a famous painter from the erstwhile Austro-Hungarian Empire. The portrait was commissioned by the Cat's Owner - Furrdinand Pawer, a banker & sugar producer. The painting was stolen by a notorious bunch of extremists in 1941 and has since been lost to history.
It has been recreated according to faded lithographs by Vinda Dravid for the Curious Cat Company.
